Pat O'Brien

bio_obrienPat O'Brien was elected to the Board of Directors of Dialogue New Brunswick in June 2012.

Mr. O’Brien is a resident of Moncton, NB and has been employed with the City as Manager: Learning & Development. since 2008. It was an appointment to the National Parole Board that brought his family to Moncton in 1998. Prior to joining the City of Moncton his career was exclusively within the criminal justice system with stints in Alberta, Ontario, PEI, and NS .Experiences in those provinces saw him work in progressively more responsible positions in community, institutional and post-secondary environments. He was active on a number of Boards in several communities. 

Relocation to Moncton represented a return to his home province and afforded his young family of the time to be educated in an immersion environment. A graduate of Saint Thomas University [BA 80 ] and the University of Ottawa [ MCA 83] Pat is an avid marathoner, part time journalist with the Times & Transcript and President of Parole Consultations, a private criminal justice consulting firm.
