Message From The Lieutenant-Governor

As New Brunswick’s 30th Lieutenant-Governor, I am delighted to lend my name to this annual Award which celebrates those who foster understanding and respect between our province’s two official linguistic communities.

I am also proud and humbled to honour this year’s recipients. They have worked tirelessly to promote both of our official languages – not in a heavy-handed way, but with tolerance and compassion to further the understanding of cultures and traditions we share. I invite all New Brunswickers to join with me in recognizing and applauding these three outstanding recipients.

Finally, I urge all citizens to continue supporting the important and worthwhile work of Dialogue New Brunswick.
