Ronald Pitre’s love of travel keeps the world in perspective and fuels his love for the unique culture of his beloved New Brunswick.
A resident of Bathurst, he has been working since 1998 with the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency as an Economic Develop Officer for the northeastern part of the province.
A Robertville native, Ronald is a Certified Accountant who studied at the Université Laval in Quebec after obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the Université de Moncton. Throughout the years, Ronald has worked for an accounting firm, and in the private sector, as a Financial Controller.
His wife Sandra is a public health nurse, and they have two children, Françoise and Catherine.
Besides travelling, the family enjoys camping and life in the great outdoors.
“Nicholas Berggruen said the biggest determinant in our lives is culture, where we are born, what the environment looks like. If that is true, we are very lucky to be New Brunswickers. Our vibrant culture of harmony among our two main linguistic and cultural groups and our rich and scenic environment are special gifts we never take for granted.”
